Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • What are The NP Xperience‘s Policies?

If you are coming for primary care services, you will need to fill out an office contract form. This form states clearly the office’s and the patient’s responsibilities to each other. With regard to appointment cancellation, we ask that you cancel your reservation at least 24 hrs. in advance to avoid any cancellation fees (up to $75 per cancellation). These fees are unfortunately necessary due to unavoidable expenses and time allocated to each patient when making an appointment. We ask that you consider our policies not as restrictions but as necessary rules, which allow us to provide higher standards of care and services.

  • How do I make appointments?

We are currently accepting appointments for telehealth visits only. To schedule an appointment, call us at (732) 908-4522.

Our office will be opening soon!

  • When should I arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled regardless of services.  This time will allow for new patients to fill out medical history information, consent forms, and be triaged by staff.  You may receive forms prior to your visit, this will facilitate this process, allow your appointment to go smoothly, and allow for a more relaxed and comfortable visit.

  • Is there anything I should do prior to an appointment?

Generally, patients who require blood draw should be fasting for at least 6-8 hours prior to appointment to get blood drawn in office. If coming in for IV therapy, avoid use of blood thinner or NSAIDs at least 5 to 7 days prior to avoid excess bleeding or bruising. Please call the prescribing provider of your blood thinner to ensure that this is acceptable depending on your medical history or condition.

When coming in for IV therapy:

    • Please wear a shirt that can roll-up above your elbow to allow access to your arms.
    • Drink fluids before you come (non-caffeinated). The more hydrated you are, the more easily accessible your veins are, making for a more comfortable treatment.
    • Some of the vitamins and minerals can have a temporary blood sugar, and blood pressure lowering effect, which can make you feel light headed during or after your IV if you haven’t eaten. So please eat something before you come.
    • If we are sedentary right before an IV, our vessels may be more difficult to access. Moving is important, so a short 10-15min walk would be helpful.
    • Give yourself enough time to arrive so you can get comfortable and relaxed prior to your treatment. This will make your experience more enjoyable and effective.

We ask that patients read the pre and post-procedural guidelines that will be provided at the time of consultation prior to any procedure.

  • What if I arrive late for my appointment?

Our scheduling is designed to permit the correct amount of time to complete your provider visit and/ or service.  A late arrival will deprive you of precious time and attention needed for your visit or service.  In fairness to others, you may need to be schedule at a later time if the calendar allows, or you may need to pick a different service  that can be completed within your allotted time so that the next patient’s session can begin on time. We will do our best to get you in for what you scheduled if you are not able to come in on time, but there may be a wait. With some services, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.

  • What health insurance does The NP Xperience take?

We currently taking United Health Care, Aetna, Horizon, Amerihealth,  Clover and Multiplan, and will continue to update as we get credentialed with other insurance companies. We are providing services for cash if your insurance is not listed. You can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Some of our services like IV therapy and non-primary care services are cash only. Ask our staff about payment plans or other ways you can be accommodated.

  • Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we do! This is such a special way to show how much you care and/or appreciate someone you care about! Giving a gift card is simple: Access online or at the office. Amount is up to you!

Note: Gift cards are nonrefundable and expire after one year.

  • Can I refer a Friend?

Yes, please! Referrals are the highest form of compliment  you can give us at The NP Xperience, and to show our appreciation for your referral, you will receive 10% off products and services for every referral who becomes a patient, or purchases a service or product! You do have to be a patient or client to receive this bonus.

  • Do you offer special discounts?

Yes, we do! We are extending a one time 15% discount on cash services and products to first time clients. A discount of 15% to any first responder, active duty military and their dependents. We also offer a 15% discount to college students. ID must be provided. There are additional promotional offers throughout the year.

  • What products do you recommend for overall health and wellness?

For achieving overall health and wellness, I recommend incorporating the following products into your daily routine:

Omega-3 fatty acids play a vital role in supporting heart health, brain function, and overall well-being. Consider adding a high-quality Omega-3 supplement, such as fish oil or algae-based Omega-3 like Juice Plus to your diet.

A plant based liquid or capsule multivitamin  offers a comprehensive blend of essential vitamins and minerals, helping to support your immune system, boost energy levels, and maintain overall vitality. Look for options like "Liquid Gold" or "Juice Plus Trio" for a convenient and easily absorbable choice.

When it comes to my skincare, I opt for natural and nourishing products like Pure Mahada butters and their black soap. These products are gentle, hypoallergenic, and enriched with beneficial ingredients like Mango, Shea butter,  Aloe Vera and Tea Tree.

YUKA App for Informed Choices: To make informed decisions about the products you use, the YUKA app can be a valuable resource. It helps analyze and rate the health impact of cosmetic, food, and personal care items, guiding you toward healthier choices.

While incorporating these products can support your overall health, it's important to remember that maintaining a balanced diet, engaging in regular exercise, getting adequate sleep, and managing stress are equally crucial for a holistic approach to wellness. Always consult with a healthcare professional before adding any new supplements to your regimen, especially if you have existing health conditions or take medications
